PARENTS OF YOUNG CHILDREN - Road Crossing

Please be mindful that your kids have no road sense you as parents have a responsibility to teach them. I am really worried for their safety in the estate. I drive at a snails pace by the park every evening and most evenings there are a group of the most adorable kids with a couple of tiny dogs either on skates or on scooters (The kids now not the dogs) and they cross the road without looking I think to myself OMG I drive up here so slowley but if it was another car not used to this those poor kids what could happen to them. Please Please if you want ile gladly get one of the guards from coolock to come up for 2 hours one saturday morning and teach road safety or indeed if one of you mammys there would take it on it would be great. Children are but a gift to us all from god and he could so easily take them away. PM me if you really would like to organise a program or if you would like a guard to come up one saturday morning.

aye, i agree but unfortunately people who aren't interested in teaching their kids how to be safe are unlikely to be interested enough in the welfare of the estate to be active on this forum.

We'll just have to be careful drivers I think.
